Happy Friday everyone! A couple things in fashion news, today is the last day of the Shopbop Summer Event Sale, Alo launched their first tennis skirt this week (3 different colors), and new colors of The Ellie Nap Dress that launched Wednesday sold out within hours (thankfully I was able to scoop one up). I will keep you up to date when new styles and colors drop at Hill House Home.
I love the above outfit because it can be deconstructed and worn many different ways. Details below.
Designed in Dallas and produced in New York City, Hunter Bell is full of wearable, romantic, and playful pieces. I love so many things from her line it’s so hard to choose. To see the whole Spring 2021 line click here.
In other news, Hill House Home is launching their Tiny Collection today at 9:00AM PST. I have been waiting for the Nap Dress to be restocked so I will definitely be checking that out today.
Colorful button downs are trending this season in both long sleeve and short sleeve styles. They are being worn oversized with denim, to the pool, or worn as a set.
While scrolling instagram I came across Courtney Halverson of Pretty Little Fawn and Amber Lewis of Amber Interiors both wearing chic new pieces from The Great. I love The Great because they design practical pieces that are perfect for Southern California living.
I am just returning from an amazing week on the Big Island of Hawaii. This was our first time going to the Big Island as a family. We stayed at the newly renovated Auberge Mauna Lani Hotel. They did a beautiful job with the renovation. The hotel has an open airy feel surrounded by lush greenery, modern decor, and beautiful Hawaiian wall art. They have three pools, a beautiful beach, and stunning grounds to walk around. The hotel only has 330 rooms so it doesn’t feel as big of some of the other resorts on the Island. The food and drinks were excellent, and having a tennis center was a major bonus for me. We had dinner at the CanoeHouse the food was amazing along with the stunning setting! Other restaurants we loved on the island were Pueo’s Osteria (mushroom truffle pizza!!), Moa Kitchen, Izakaya Shiono (casual sushi in Kona), and Seiji Sushi (nothing fancy but it was delicious sushi prepared by a husband and wife team who we loved). For a sweet treat we enjoyed ice cream at Anuenue (the Volcano and Lily Koi Cheesecake were out of this world), and Acai bowls at Yoga Barre. It was so nice to see the hotel bustling and tourism coming back to the Island. The staff at the Mauna Lani couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating we can’t wait to go back!
Christy Dawn Brooklyn Dress Comfortable dress that can be dressed up or down. Also like the Bodie (if you don’t want elastic on the arms). Dress in the above picture.
Happy Easter to all of those who celebrate! I wanted to share the above dress which is part of Mi Golondrina’s Easter collection (outfit details below), along with several other pretty dress picks.
