Update : The Spanx Wide Leg Pants I had on my blog a couple weeks ago came and I really like them. They are extremely flattering, comfy, and I love the leg length and width. They run true to size I ordered a small. Alo just dropped their Varsity tennis skirt I ordered it in two colors I will let you know how it fits. I’m so excited for my new Hill House dresses to come there are still some pieces left if you didn’t get a chance to shop it yesterday (Ellie in Mermaid Print, Nesli in Paisley, & Roxy in Red).
I am just returning from a quick trip to Cabo. We stayed at the new Nobu hotel in Cabo San Lucas. The beautiful resort mixes Japanese minimalism with modern Mexican decor. The perfect blend of sophistication with laid back luxury. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable (beds were amazing!). The hotel has three large pools to choose from the Pacific Pool being our favorite with swim up cabanas. The overall service at the hotel was amazing with each room having their own personal ambassador. It was a great way to kick off Summer!
We had two amazing dinners, one at Manta (The Cape Hotel) and one at Cocina Del Mar (Esperanza Hotel). Lunch at Nobu’s Pacific Restaurant was delicious (the shrimp quesadillas were so good!). Now onto what I packed into my carry-on!
Last week I posted this bathing suit and said I would report back once I received it. It’s my first Summersalt suit and I absolutely love it! It’s comfortable, flattering, and reasonably priced. See below for my favorite Summersalt suits and cover-up’s.
These suits look really cute with an oversized white button-down (as a cover-up) like this, this, & this. I am also loving crochet cover-ups like this, this, & this, and sarongs like this, this, & this.
I haven’t done a beauty post in awhile so I thought I would share my Top 10 Beauty Products. I am not a product junkie I like to keep my products down to a minimum to avoid clutter in the bathroom. My favorites listed below.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I stopped by Playa Runway over the weekend. It’s a cute shopping area similar to Platform in Culver City. They have a Farmer’s Market on Saturday, and a cool market place called Free Market. Several chic boutiques and restaurants Alchemy Works, County Line Florals, Teressa Foglia, Loqui (love!), Jeni’s Ice Creams, and Bull & Butterfly (can’t wait to try!). Saturday evening we had dinner at Golden Bull in Santa Monica Canyon. The new patio strung with twinkle lights is a great addition to this casual and cozy neighborhood restaurant. Now onto all the cute new stuff that J. Crew has in store now.
BTW – I’m loving this season’s Farm Rio dress collection which is full of vibrant, tropical, and happy prints. It goes with this Summer’s biggest trend “Joy Dressing” (check out WSJ article about “Joy Dressing“). After wearing sweats for the past year we want to wear clothing that makes us feel happy, and Farm Rio checks that box. A couple dresses I’m loving are this (below picture), this, & this.
Mango just launched their Summer 2021 collection The Sun Is Everywhere. This collection is serving up major flower power and 70’s vibes. The collection consists of colorful prints, crochet pieces, beautiful flowy dresses, and two piece sets. I’m loving it all! To see the whole collection click here. My selections below.
Samantha Wennerstrom of Could I Have That is looking Trés Chic in this season’s Sézane dress and top. It inspired me to head over to vintage inspired French brand Sézane (known for making quality affordable pieces) to check our their new arrivals. See what I found below.
