East Coast

I’m just returning from NYC where I ate, drank, walked, and shopped! Here’s what I saw fashion wise. There were a ton of trench coats (short & long), long wool coats with hoodies and sweats, lugged sole boots and loafers, adidas sambas/gazelles, embroidered baseball caps, and cropped wide leg jeans with peekaboo socks.

NYC Restaurants I loved on our trip.

  1. Thai Diner – favorite meal of the trip!
  2. Nami Nori – second favorite meal of the trip.
  3. Via Carota and you can have drinks at Bar Pisellino while you wait for your table.
  4. Blue Ribbon Sushi on Sullivan St., the original location is the best!
  5. Katz’s
  6. Russ & Daughters
  7. Marks on Madison for lunch.
  8. La Cabra on Lafayette for coffee.
  9. William Greenberg Bakery for a black & white cookie.
  10. Super Moon Bakehouse
  11. Butterfield Market – coffee & Arnold Palmer UES.
  12. Levain Bakery for a cookie.

We stayed at The Ludlow on the LES, they have a double room that’s perfect for a family of 4.

I spent two nights in Boston as well, some restaurants I loved from our trip.

  1. Row 34 classic Boston seafood spot, loved!
  2. Raffles Blind Duck – beautiful speakeasy in the Raffles Hotel, excellent cocktails.
  3. Mike’s for cannolis.
  4. Tatte for midway snack.
  5. Paramount for breakfast.

We stayed at The Whitney Hotel in Beacon Hill and loved it.
