While I’m holed up at home recovering from hamstring surgery, I’ve been spending way too much time scrolling the web, dreaming about all the fun fall fashion I’ll wear once I’m healed. For now, I’m alternating between one Aviator set and the next. I did buy several new sets because I might as well be cozy and cute while lounging on the couch. These pants (size up!) and tops are seriously the softest!
A few standout trends I’m loving this season are leopard jackets paired with red pants (these, these, and these). Fur-trim coats are also having a major moment, and Rixo (1st pic), Stand Studio, and Isabel Marant all have great versions. For a look for less, I love this one from Mango.
Also on my list is this Ulla Johnson denim skirt (look for less here). I’m equally into the idea of a leather or faux leather pencil skirt paired with a chic button-down. Such an easy, polished look that feels fresh again.
A couple of other things from the week. I am so grateful to Shutterfly. I spent an hour on the phone with them this week, and they generously replaced all the photo books I lost in the fires. I also tried Nudes, the new Mediterranean frozen yogurt spot on 3rd Street with a line around the corner. It’s good, but I’m still partial to Myka. Their yogurt and toppings are hard to beat!
I’ve also been doing a lot of home shopping. This week was all about rugs, and West Elm has some really great, affordable options, especially when you have a dog!
For now, I’ll just keep adding to my wish list until I’m back on my feet!
