Yesterday we ran some errands downtown and then headed over to Highland Park to check out a cool menswear store Snake Oil Provisions. After that we picked up a couple groceries from Cookbook and headed over toJoy on York for an early dinner. I’ve been living in theseBanana Republic jeans, velour Maryjanes (the most comfortable ones I have & affordable), Buck Mason button down, and Gucci sunglasses. I still have some last minute gifts to pick up and I’m thinking of this cable polo cashmere wool scarf (on sale), Aritiza hi gloss puffer, Roller Rabbit pajamas set, Caraway Mini Duo set ( I have this in sage and love), and Smithey carbon steel wok (gorgeous pans!).

Last night we had dinner with friends at Saffy’s, modern healthy middle eastern food located in East Hollywood. The endive salad, grilled celery root, and shawarma plate were all excellent! I went with a simple and comfy outfit above. I’m wearing a light weight Jenni Kayne knit (size xsmall great basic), faux leather jeans (similar to above), black boots (similar to above) and Velvet faux fur jacket (wearing this a ton).

Yesterday I spent the late afternoon into the evening on Abbot Kinney. I browsed around the new women’s Buck Mason store which was designed by Leanne Ford the wife of Buck Mason’s cofounder Erik Allen Ford. The clothes are beautifully displayed along with a cafe in the back, blond wood accents, stunning pottery, and a book wall (all for sale). I was eyeing thisfair isle sweater,peacoat, and leather bomber. I have been wearing my Buck Mason waffle sweater, l/s tee, and v neck sweater on repeat! After roaming around the stores I had a 5:15 dinner reservation at RVR, within 15 mins the entire restaurant was packed. There was a DJ in the back spinning the coolest selection of vinyl records. Fun Tuesday evening!
