About Last Night

Faux Fur Jacket // Buck Mason l/s ribbed Tee // Levi Bootcut Jeans // Rachel Comey Clogs // Madewell Belt // Clare V Phone Case

Last night was a spontaneous date night with dinner at Antico Nuovo which was amazing! An intimate unpretentious cozy setting which serves up simple, clean, Italian cuisine. After dinner we saw Marcus King (with Chris Dave x Cory Henry x DJ Ginyard) at the Blue Note. If you don’t know who Marcus King is definitely add him to your playlist, wildly talented singer and guitar player. His music is a mix of blues, soul, and southern rock. Fun LA night!

A couple things I found at Banana Republic yesterday while shopping at Century City.

Velour Flare Pants (so chic, great for the holidays) // Black Splatter Paint Barrel Jeans // Red Cashmere Sweater

We started with broccoli chicory caesar, then tortellini with lemon ricotta, wagyu pesto steak, grilled chicory, and cannoli with pistachio brittle ice cream. So good!

Los Olivos

I just got back from a girl weekend in Los Olivos. We stayed at The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern which I love! It’s a great little getaway, only two hours from Los Angeles. I always make a pitstop in Santa Barbara on the way to do a little shopping at The Post Montecito and The Montecito Mart. We did a lot of lounging, eating, drinking, and cards. Sharing some details below.

Restaurants – Bar Le Cote // Bell’s // The Tavern // SY Kitchen

Shopping – Wendy Foster // Favour // Mer // Santa Ynez General Store

What I Wore

Thursday Night – Isabel Marant Sweater // Sezane Sailor Jeans // Isabel Marant Suede Boot

Friday Night – Brochu Walker Dress // Loeffler Randall High Boots // Buck Mason Shrunken Blazer

Saturday Night – Anne Mashburn Button Down // AMO Flare Jeans // Buck Mason Shrunken Blazer // Gucci Belt // Isabel Marant Boot

I packed my comfy Roller Rabbit pajamas (the softest!) to sleep in, and cozy The Great cardigan to keep me warm.

Lastly, I bought the softest faux fur jacket and was eyeing this cropped AGOLDE leather bomber (on my wish list).

Fall Favorite

Fall is one of my favorite times of year to be in NYC. Considering it was 89 degrees in LA, I’m happy to be here all bundled up strolling through the city. On Tuesday we started the morning at Sadelle’s and made our way to the Meatpacking Packing district for a little shopping and lunch at Pastis. After lunch we went to the MOMA to see the Ruth Asawa retrospective which was fascinating. We finished our day with dinner at Via Carota in the West Village which is always delicious. On Wednesday it was breakfast at Russ & Daughters and then shopping downtown. I found two sweaters at Jenni Kayne this simple thin elegant polo and a beautiful fair isle sweater. We walked over to the West Village for lunch at Nami Nori and dinner with friends at Dante. It’s been a fun few day in the city!

What I Wore in NYC

  1. Max Mara Weekend Belted Jacket
  2. Barbour Jacket with Hood
  3. TWP Trousers (new favorite) I wore these with the new Jenni Kayne sweater.
  4. Isabel Marant Azeala Sweater I wore this with Jeanerica jeans.
  5. Anne Mashburn Schoolgirl Shirt Runs small size up.
  6. Polo Cable Sweater & Polo Sweater
  7. Buck Mason Slub Tee (bought this new style, size down).
  8. New Balance Sneakers (just dropped on line today).

Step it Up

Weekend Max Mara Coat (above)

I’m spending a couple of days in NYC this week. I flew in Sunday evening and went right to dinner at Blue Ribbon on Sullivan Street and then the Blue Note for an incredible Jazz show, R+R = NOW// Robert Glasper. Yesterday, we got up early and had coffee at La Cabre and then headed uptown for lunch at Mark’s Off Madison. Along the way we stopped at the New Balance store (got these sneakers). Then I hit the flagship Ralph Lauren store on 72nd and Madison to replenish my cashmere sweaters. I got a red cable crew, grey cable polo, camel cable crew, a pair of army green utility pants, dressy button down, and RRL jeans (raw denim). I also spent time in the Jones Road store where I got a new foundation (light/Claire), cover-up pencil (shade 8), lip stick (Maeve), and lip gloss (pink gold shimmer). I have been wanting to try Bobby Brown’s new clean line and it was great to try it on in person. We finished our 29,000 step day with dinner at Frenchette which was incredible. Today it will be downtown shopping…more to come.
