Memorial Day weekend is approaching and it’s Suddenly Summer! I’m stocking up on new dresses like the above SZ Blockprints (also like Kitty Dress & Jodhpur Dress), AGOLDE Denim Shorts (I sized up for a looser fit), Mille Clementine Dress (size down), white Dickies Relaxed Carpenter Pants (I plan on cutting the hems off for a cropped fit), Doen Top, Madrid Birkenstocks, and a new custom stripe Tote Bag. This should get me off to the right start.

Happy Monday everyone! It was a busy weekend that consisted of tennis, hiking, shopping on Abbott Kinney (Pudu Pudu opened can’t wait to try), and a delicious dinner at Scopa. It feels so good to be out and about and inspired by all the chic style I’m seeing on the streets of LA.
Collaboration Alert – LA home and textile company Heather Taylor Home just launched a collaboration with West Elm. It consists of table linens, pillows, bedding, and various houseware items. You can check it all our here. Now onto today’s post which is one of my favorite things to wear….STRIPES!

When I think of cargo shorts I think of Banana Republic in the 80’s. It was the go-to place for cargo shorts, safari shirts, and bomber jackets. I had one pair of cargo shorts that I still covet to this day. Today I’m serving up cargo/military shorts.

The Real Real came this week so that means clearing out the old and making room for the new. One thing that I’m shopping for are easy to wear lightweight tops that can be worn throughout the Spring Summer season. These are some that I am considering.
