Minneapolis based brand Mille designs some of my favorite tops and dresses. Their pieces are comfortable, fun, feminine, and easy to wear. I love their vibrant block prints and use of natural fibers. Check out my Mille edit below.
APL Lusso Slide Update – I received my slides yesterday and they are so comfortable! The quilted upper is made of leather and it has a soft cushion footbed. I may need another pair!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I hosted Mother’s Day at my house this year. We kept it simple and ordered from Joan’s on Third and got bagels from Pop’s Bagels. If you haven’t tried them they are amazing! You can get them fully baked (you’re supposed to eat them warm), or half baked and you can finish them off in the oven at home.
SALE ALERT! Shopbop is running a Preview Sale with up to 40% off select items (to shop the whole sale click here). A couple things to check out.
It was a busy week at Julesee.com with the release of my first batch of super soft custom chainstitch embroidered sweatshirts (more to come DM me to preorder), shopping with clients, and lots of blogging. I did have time to stop at Platform LA for lunch at Bianca Bakery (which I highly recommend), browsed in the boutiques, and stopped for an iced matcha from Boba Guys (my fave). Wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day!
I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of H&M’s collaboration with resort wear brand Lemlem (launches 5/6 8am EST). Lemlem was started by model and actress Liya Kebede. Liya started the brand with hopes to preserve the art of weaving and create more jobs in her native country of Ethiopia. The capsule collection consists of 28 pieces that retail from $13.99-$49.99. To shop the collaboration click here. It’s won’t last long!
Mandy Moore posted this picture of herself in a beautiful Christy Dawn dress, Jennifer Behr headband, Mini Bulb Bottega, and Roger Vivier Sandals (sandal similar to above) over the weekend. Of course it made me head right over to Christy Dawn where I found several new arrivals. As you all know I’m a big fan of her dresses and wear them quite often. I find her dresses practical for my lifestyle and so easy to wear.
I loved this weekend’s WSJ article The Never-ending Joy of the 90’s a walk down fashion memory lane with Carolyn Murphy, Shalom Harlow, and Amber Valletta. It talks about how their friendship has grown over the years and how they have adjusted to the ever evolving fashion industry. The styling by Clare Richardson was spot on, it captured their natural beauty and carefree style. I gathered some pieces from the shoot and listed them below.
