I hope everyone had a great weekend. Friday evening my husband had a Spanish wine tasting that I joined in on. I tasted three different wines in the following order La Rioja Alta Vina Ardanza, Muga Rioja, and Clos Laurel Eramus Priorat. The Muga and Laurel were my favorites. To go with the Spanish wines I tried a new Arroz Con Pollo recipe. Instead of using an instant pot I made it in a Le Creuset Dutch oven. It turned out great and will definitely be making it again! I also spent the weekend updating my TEEN SHOP with lots of great new Spring styles. You can check it out here.
In an effort to streamline your wardrobe and fill it with elevated basics Apiece Apart is just the right brand. Launched in 2015 by Star Houtt and Laura Cramer, Apiece Apart designs clean simplified clothing that can be worn countless different ways. Some favorites from their current line.
Comfy, casual, and loose fitting dresses are what constitutes the Stay at Home Dress. I’ve been cooking a ton, and I’m in out of the pool so I just throw on a loose fitting dress. Mine could use a bit of sprucing so below are some that I am considering.
I’ve been coveting this gorgeous Apiece Apart floral Sierra dress ever since it landed in stores. It’s an easy to wear silk wrap dress. Florals were big last spring and they will continue to be a trend this coming season. Some floral options listed below.
Yesterday I was having lunch at Margot, and of course I had to stop by Bird and check out all their new merch. In the fitting room with me were the above Levi Rib Cage Jeans (they came home with me), Amo tee, No 6. clogs (non shearling here), Apiece Apart sweater, Demylee cardigan, and A.P.C pullover. I passed on the Levi leopard cords I didn’t like the fit, I prefer the new Madewell stovepipes. I plan on wearing my new jeans with my Mansur ballet flats…they go with everything including the above Ulla dress (on sale) that I scooped up at Revolve last month.
You can’t miss the ruffle trend flooding fashion this season. I love the feminine detail adoring blouses, dresses, swimsuits, and playsuits. This week I stocked up on ruffles with this Other Stories Dress, this Juliet Dunn Wrap Skirt, and these two J. Crew suits (this & this). Below are some other styles that will have you Ruffle Ready.
