Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I stopped by Playa Runway over the weekend. It’s a cute shopping area similar to Platform in Culver City. They have a Farmer’s Market on Saturday, and a cool market place called Free Market. Several chic boutiques and restaurants Alchemy Works, County Line Florals, Teressa Foglia, Loqui (love!), Jeni’s Ice Creams, and Bull & Butterfly (can’t wait to try!). Saturday evening we had dinner at Golden Bull in Santa Monica Canyon. The new patio strung with twinkle lights is a great addition to this casual and cozy neighborhood restaurant. Now onto all the cute new stuff that J. Crew has in store now.
Last night’s dinner was a hit with the family so I wanted to share what I made. I tried a new Miso Glazed Salmon, and served it with Asian Noodles, sautéed shelled edamame (just edamame, sesame oil, and chili onion crunch), and shaved brussel sprouts (added oil and roasted at 425°F until crisp). Now onto today’s look….
Alex Mill Charlie Shirt Goop, $115. Love a short sleeve button down.
Goop x Mirth Exclusive Rio Dress Goop, $350. I also like this, this, this all from Mirth. Sister duo Erin Breen and Katie Mcclure started Mirth in 2016 to create ethically sourced resort wear inspired by their love of travel and textiles.
I was doing some on-line shopping for my girls when I stumbled upon this March 11 looking top at Topshop. I added it to the cart and was beyond happy when I got it in the mail. I love the colorful embroidery, fit, and quality of this top.
Embroidered Smock Blouse Topshop, $22.50. It runs big I ordered the Petite Size 2 and it fits. Also in the cart were these Camo Pants.
Monrow Chino Side Zip Trousers Olive Saks, $105 (on sale). Click here for Navy. They are almost exactly like the Nili Lotan Cropped Military Pants Shopbop, $325. Pants in the above picture.
I just came back from a quick trip to Cabo. While I was there I stopped into the hotel boutique and came across this gorgeous floral print dress by Alexis. Floral prints are huge for Printemps this season.
